A Day with SMAN 4 Kendari Teachers

SEPTEMBER 25 – The teachers at SMAN Kendari took me out to lunch at a restaurant. They ordered a chicken dish for me, and we ate together. After that, we had a group picture together. Ma’am Rhea, Ma’am Sandri, Ma’am Erna, and I later went to a souvenir shop where they bought Kendari food products I will bring home to my family and friends. Our next stop was at Al-Alam Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in Southeast Sulawesi.

We head back to the school. A Grade 10 student came to me and gave me a gift she bought for me. I gave my thanks for her gift and the teachers for touring me even for a short time. It was the best day for me to be with the teachers of SMAN 4 Kendari, and I’ll never forget it.
