SEPTEMBER 10 – I was sitting outside our dorm when I came across some UHO students staying at the same dorm with us. We talked for a few minutes, getting to know each other. They invited me to jog on the university campus. I was eager to accept their offer since it’s been a while since I had my last jogging activity. I immediately changed my clothes, and we started jogging. We passed several UHO departments until we arrived at their abandoned hospital, where we hung out for a few minutes before returning to the dorm.
After jogging, I went to rest in my room. A few minutes later, some university teachers, such as Sir Mustamin and Sir Nggawu, arrived to pick us up at Toronipa Beach. The first place we were supposed to go to was Bokori Island, but we did not continue. We passed by some scenic views, such as the seaside and forests. Arriving at the beach, we set up our things and took pictures. Then we tried riding a donut boat. When I sat down and the boat started moving, I couldn’t help but be afraid since the donut boat might flip over, and we did not have life jackets on. We circled the sea for a few minutes. Fortunately, we went back ashore safely with a happy face. Sir Mustamin called us to have our snacks. After a while, we tried the banana boat. We put on our life jackets, and off we go.

I thought we would have a normal ride like the donut boat we tried earlier, but I was wrong. The boat driver turned sharply to the right, causing us to flip over. I thought we fell on a deep part, but luckily it was not. We boarded the banana boat again and then turned around again before we flipped again. We headed back ashore and had our lunch. After that, we had the chance to dance some of their traditional dances. My friends also sang some Filipino songs. We went to the shore and picked some shells as our souvenirs.
