SEPTEMBER 04 - In the morning, my fellow exchange students, Princess, Michaela, Ruth, Ian, Beatriz, Gielliane, Jasmin, and I were introduced to the different school officials and students of Universitas Halu Oleo - Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. The school administrators then briefed us on the subject areas we would be teaching and the practicum school we would be assigned to.

During our orientation

I chose Geography as my preferred subject area after being asked to choose a subject I would teach. The practicum school assigned to me was SMAN 4 Kendari, a senior high school. In addition, Sir Nggawu, Vice Dean of FKIP, was assigned to pick me up every weekday. Ma'am Ade told us to prepare on Tuesday for our observation after they settled the practicum schools of my fellow exchange students.
